ABOUT THE COMPANY       SUNHEAT is an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau

SUNHEAT is a family owned and operated business employing several family members. They are a dealer oriented company, supporting and promoting independent business owners, across the country. The company was founded in North Platte, Nebraska; relocating to Grand Island, Nebraska in the 1960’s; and experienced a regional expansion in the 1970’s. In the 1980’s, with the first energy crunch, they began selling the first infrared heater on the market, the Sun Twin. This new infrared technology was very exciting but very expensive and much less effective than the SUNHEAT heaters are today.

THE FIRST SUNHEAT

In 2003, when fuel prices began to dramatically affect home heating costs, the Sun Twin was rediscovered.

That spring about 1000 Sun Twin heaters were sold. The next season over 4000 Sun Twins were sold. An agreement was made to distribute Sun Twin over an 8 state region. However, by the time the next heater season started, Sun Twin sold their company to Bio-Tech Research, the parent company of Eden Pure. Not satisfied with the quality produced by the new company, a prototype of the new SUNHEAT was made. This manufacturer had built products for Ted for over a decade, and understood his high standards and expectations for the SUNHEAT. By January 2006, the first SUNHEAT electronic infrared heaters were being sold. SUNHEAT products are inspected and quality checked in Grand Island, Nebraska. SUNHEAT recently made the investment to build a state of the art manufacturing plant in Nebraska to produce heirloom quality, environmentally friendly cabinets for the Original SUNHEAT.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

The Original SUNHEAT is safe around children and pets. The all wood cabinetry stays cool to the touch, no matter how long it runs. The SUNHEAT cannot start a fire. The Original SUNHEAT is designed to be left on even when you are away from home.

Similar to soft water systems that soften hard water the Original SUNHEAT produces soft warm heat. The air is pulled through a lifetime filter into the heat chamber where infrared heat tubes, which are surrounded by pure copper canisters, transfers the infrared heat to the water molecules in the air. The air is then pushed out into the room where the water molecules warm the objects in the room: carpet, chairs, sofa, etc. This transitive heating process allows the heat to be absorbed by water molecules in the air. The warm moist air then warms everything in the room.

The lifetime washable filter is not a purification system but it does collect particles floating in the air, removing some allergens and dust. Many fireplaces, stoves and space heaters produce a dry heat that breaks up the water molecules in the air and all the heat collects at the ceiling. This type of heating dries out your sinuses, throat and skin. Your home becomes static filled, uncomfortable and unhealthy. SUNHEAT filters the air and warms your home without drying out the air, so you get a warm, healthy, comfortable home environment.

Most people spend 80% of their time in about 20% of their home. Why pay to heat the whole house? The Original SUNHEAT is a portable heat system that allows you to effectively heat bedrooms, family rooms, basements, game rooms or any room. You just turn down the primary heat source for the rest of your home. When you trade the higher cost of running your furnace to heat just a few rooms, for cheaper, more effective, electronic infrared heat, the net results will lower your overall costs.
